Drain inspection today has become second nature for Architects, Engineers and Scottish Water to specify the inspection of either new or existing systems. Many drainage contractor's do this work to various levels of quality, accuracy and standard. Drainflow have invested in high quality Austrian inspection equipment (Ipek Rovver) which links via a van based computer to record simultaneously both the footage and the full structural report in digital format. Both our push camera and tractorised systems link through this technology which allows for all of our work to be carried out using this method. We also own a battery powered remote system which records to a USB or internal hard drive to enable surveys to be undertaken from remote locations and is integrated within Wincan V8. We detail below the complete list of our equipment based in Aberdeen and as you will see we have invested over time in a complete range of spares i.e. cables and camera heads which means less down time when an occasional break down occurs. In 2011 we invested £25,000 to undertake a complete upgrade of our systems installing Wincan V8, inclinometers within both tractors to provide detailed information on the gradient of sewers in a graph format (which allows dips in sewers to be detected), led light heads, a back eye camera to assist reversing out of sewers and the latest camera head incorporating a 40x zoom facility and auto focusing. Our Autocad mapping service allows for a complete site drainage system to be overlaid on to a topographical survey (which we can supply) providing accurate information which can be archived and updated when any changes are made on the site. Our client's are now benefiting from our Company being at the leading edge of technology and providing a total service which reduces their time involvement in the project. We are also very competitive within our industry as we keep our overheads low and offer a very personal service.
